The Lost Glitches Ranking System

In this short article we will briefly explain our current ranking system. There are seven different ranks ranging from Unranked, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond all the way up to the ultimate rank Eternal.
Each rank comes with 4 tiers. Players start in unranked and then after winning their first game in ranked mode enter Bronze tier 1, go to Bronze tier 2, then tier 3 and ultimately tier 4, until they gain enough points to rank up to Silver tier 1.
For Bronze – Silver the numbers of points needed to unlock the next level are as follows:
Bronze Tier 1: 1 point
Bronze Tier 2: 6 points
Bronze Tier 3: 12 points
Bronze Tier 4: 18 points
Silver Tier 1: 26 points
For each rank the progression through the different tier levels is the same from tier 1 to tier 4, so you repeat the process for each rank.
There are however differences as to the number of points needed to reach the next level in each of the ranking tiers. It starts very simple in the Bronze tier where for each win you gain 2 points and you are not punished with losing any points if you lose a match. This changes once you reach Silver where you still gain two win points for each win but get 1 point deducted for each loss.
The general idea how it all works is thus:
Depending on which rank you are in, you are given X points (if you win a match) or you are deducted X points (if you lose a match).
It gets progressively more difficult as you are climbing the ranks. Please see the table below to see how many win points and lose points are applied at each rank and tier as well as the number of points needed to unlock the next level.
